Item Description
A great association specimen from this famous copper producing region in Arizona. Morenci has given collectors some iconic and beautiful Azurite and Malachite specimens, and this piece is a good miniature display piece featuring a royal blue color, rather sharp and lustrous prismatic crystal of Azurite (beautiful when viewed in reflected light), associated with grey colored crystals of the uncommon aluminun hydroxite, Gibbsite on matrix. Great balance, visual appeal, and associations make this a very worthwhile piece for any collector. Ex Harold Urish collection, who obtained the piece from Zee's in 1996. Valued at $550.
