Item Description

Azurite from Tsumeb is one of the most classic, and highly sought after species of the hundreds found at this famous locality. This piece features excellent, sharp and rather lustrous, deep midnight blue "blades" of Azurite forming an attractive "rosette"-shaped aggregate associated with green Arsentsumebite on both sides. A very attractive miniature specimen, and good quality for the material, despite a bit of roughness on the side and back. Tsumeb specimens are rising in value by the minute it seems. Ex Richard A.
