Item Description

A fabulously colorful and sculptural, old Bisbee azurite and malachite specimen. The intergrown azurite stalactites are colorfully complimented by the orange limonite coating and rich sprinkling of sprays of lustrous, primary malachite blades. The back is another story, as scintillating, tiny electric-blue azurite crystals are dusted with more primary malachite crystals. This was a two-sided rib in a cave of one of the mines, as the top is contacted. Undoubtably, pre-World War I material. An old-time and colorful classic.
