Item Description

Dense rosettes of thin-bladed, navy-blue, azurite crystals surrounded by complimentary malachite form a rich and aesthetic combination specimen from the famous Morenci Mine. The well-formed crystals have uniform striking "electric-blue" color under bright light. Classic, very fine and way above average azurite from this noted locale. The base has been sawed to enhance the display. Ex Harold Urish Collection and obtained from Wayne Chartier in Bisbee in 1996. Valued at $1250 for fine quality.
