Azurite w/ Malachite

Item Description

Highly lustrous, lozenge-shaped azurite crystals with tapered ends are aesthetically clustered on the porphyry matrix with contrasting malachite on this showy and excellent small cabinet from recent finds at the now-famous Milpillas Mine. The large doubly terminated crystal is 2.3 cm and the crystals have electric-blue color under bright light. A bruised crystal is noted, but this remains sculptural and highly representative example of this desired varietal and locale with multiple display views.
