Azurite w/ Malachite

Scintillating tiny navy-blue azurite crystals with striking "electric-blue" color under bright light line a striking open-ended cavern in the sculptural large specimen of banded azurite, malachite and gossan matrix. There are more crystal lined vugs scattered around the piece, adding character. This is an excellent specimen from this less well-known copper mine, which is near the better known Liufengshan Mine and produced a big pocket from which this came in about 2005. The mines produce very similar azurite and malachite specimens.
