Azurite w/ Malachite

Item Description

Glamorous, sharp, midnight-blue azurite crystals glow with electric-blue color under bright light on this excellent and sizable plate from recent finds at the Milpillas Mine. One crystal has been pseudoed by malachite and is a super accent, along with the contrasting altered white porphyry matrix. The crystals reach about 2.2 cm. This piece does have bruising, but remains a striking, highly representative and large example at a very reasonable price point.
