Azurite w/ Dolomite (rare combo)

Item Description

A splendent, sharp, 1.5 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm, azurite crystal is aesthetically perched on matrix from Touissit. This beauty has a striking chisel termination and the matrix around the azurite is covered with glassy dolomite rhombs, a RARE association. The azurite has areas of "electric-blue" gemminess under bright light. Complete all-around, the crystal has just a bit of termination and back edge wear, which is certainly only a modest detraction to this very rare and showy combination.
