Item Description
A striking dense jumble of lustrous navy-blue and royal-blue azurite crystals fill a vug on this very rich and sculptural small cabinet from famed Tsumeb. Crystals reach about 1.7 cm. The light green crusts of Arsentsumebite (Type Locality), a rare Pb-Cu-arsenate, are a stark contrast and fine accessory. The royal-blue sections on the prisms are contacted areas within the vug and actually have very little damage. The blue color contrasts add much character to this very showy, rich and classic azurite combination from Tsumeb.
