Mineral specimens of ANY variety are rare from this less well-known open pit Zambia copper and cobalt mine. This is a really cute thumbnail of bright, sharp, royal-blue, azurite crystals with rich gorgeous areas of electric-blue highlights aesthetically set on a spearpoint quartz shard. The broken crystal on the right of the tip and the gently bruised crystal on the lower right are noted, but have very minimal impact on the fine quality of this thumb.
