The historic and long-closed mines at Chessy are the Type Locality for azurite. Lustrous bladed clusters of rich azure-blue crystals in striking swirl-like patterns cover both sides of this attractive, two-sided miniature rib. Classic, old-time and excellent material from the John Barlow Collection # 1356.
