Item Description

A sculptural, prismatic azurite crystal from Tsumeb and the Bob Trimingham Collection. The terminated, dark blue, moderately lustrous, two-sided crystal looks just like a boot. Some faces are dull and pitted, attached clay is scattered about and some malachite replacement is noted. A showy, highly representative azurite with nice form.
