Item Description
Rich, very dense cluster of fine, vivid Azurite crystals, intergrown in places with light green Malachite. The very fine Azurute crystals (slender and needlelike individually), up to 4.4 mm in length, are clustered in classic spheres, some over 1 cm across. The Azurites needles have bright, shiny luster, and the color of the spheres varies from deep azure to violet blue. A good representative specimen from the TYPE LOCALE for azurite, and with the most riveting azure blue color you could ask for. Valued $500-750
