Here we have a fantastic full sized thumbnail Azurite specimen from the famous Czar Shaft in the historic Copper Queen Mine in Bisbee, Arizona. Azurite specimens from this locality are regarded among the finest examples of the species from any North American locality for their superior luster, color, form and historic significance. This piece features beautiful, rather lustrous, sharp royal blue Azurite crystals in a "fan"-shaped or partial "rosette"-shaped group to create great this eye-catching display specimen. A great example, especially in a thumbnail, and it's in great shape, with the only roughness to be seen on the lower section where it detached from the pocket wall. This piece comes from the collection of Dick Hauck and was originally priced in our inventory at $1,500.
