Item Description

Despite some minor bruises, this is a good sized and attractive specimen of Azurite! It is a mostly complete "rosette" group of sheaf-like crystals, with flashing faces and terrific deep blue (not blackish) color. The crystals are arranged in beautiful stacked, radiating patterns. Minor Malachite can be seen on the back side. Azurites of this magnitude are rare from anywhere, so do not let the quantity of azurites from China dull your appreciation of a specimen such as this, no matter where it is from. This piece was valued at $1400 in the inventory.
