Azurite ("rosette" group)

Item Description

A classic example of the famous Azurite "rosette" aggregates from the Shilu Mine. This piece is filled with rather lustrous lustrous, very sharp, rich royal-blue color blades of Azurites forming "rosette"-shaped groups free of matrix. The piece is nearly a complete "floater", but there are a few points of attachment on the back, so it's not fully crystallized all the way around. You can also see some little nicks here and there, but it looks good when held in the hand. The piece reminds me of the classic specimens from Bisbee or Chessy. This piece is from an older discovery in the early 1980s. This one is good quality for the material, and looks beautiful from several angles.
