Item Description
A classic miniature-sized Azurite from the famous Morenci Mine in Arizona, which is unquestionably one of the premier copper mineral producers in the entire state. This piece is an eye-catching "rose"-shape group composed of fairly thick, lustrous, deep blue colored blocky crystals with an almost directional luster when rotated in the light. The largest individual crystal measures about 1.2 cm. No major damage on the top/display side, though it's contacted on the base where it was separated from the matrix. From the 1980s era of mining.
