Item Description
Gorgeous blue hues on the lustrous, sculptural, undulating, densely banded azurite on both sides of this very fine polished small cabinet slice from the famous mines at Bisbee. Beautiful royal-blue banding is overlain by navy-blue banding on the gossan matrix nicely complemented by patches and seams of contrasting malachite. Undoubtedly classic older material, as this style was found turn of the 1900s.
