Item Description
This is a shockingly beautiful thumbnail of azurite, with the sharp crystals having formed a pinwheel arrangement, complete all around as shown. This is a rare style, and a rare quality for the mine, but more than that it just makes for a unique and fine thumbnail. It was exhibited in the Bill and Sharon Panczner collection, and they collected from the 1960s into the 1980s.
