A striking, 1.6 cm azurite crystal with a stunning sharp chisel termination is dramatically set on the edge of a vug lined with lustrous, spherical aggregates of beige-colored smithsonite crystals. The highly lustrous, midnight-blue azurite has striking stepped-growth faces. Portions of the crystal light up with "electric-blue" color under bright light. Complete all-around, the lightly bruised lower outer edge is certainly only a minimal detraction to this very fine, classic and aesthetic combination from Tsumeb. Valued $900
