Azurite on Quartz (uncommon locale)

Item Description

This fine and rare combination specimen is from an old and little-known locality - Sierra Rica, Chihuahua, Mexico. Sharp, highly lustrous, midnight-blue azurite blades, with hints of desirable "electric-blue", have grown on the tips of quartz crystals of a light blue color from a thin coating of a copper-rich mineral. Very seldom on the market.
