An exceptionally cute combination thumbnail from Concepcion del Oro and the Dick Heck Collection. Sparkly, dark royal-blue azurite crystals with desirable, gemmy, "electric-blue" highlights are richly strewn among a porcupine-like cluster of tapered quartz spikes. The iron oxide-tinting on the quartz crystals really adds character to this oustanding, old-time thumbnail specimen. Complete all-around. The interior is completely pristine, with the modest periphery wear concentrated on the back of the piece.
