Item Description
Simply a stunning crystalline sharp piece of blue...it looks almost like cut glass, it is so sharp: this is a geometric and important crystal for the location, an old copper mine in Arizona. The Ajo mine is particularly important for malachite pseudomorph specimens, and native azurite, without alteration, is more rare in good quality. In case people are thinking this might be from Milpillas in Mexico, it is not...as it predates those discoveries by decades. From the competitive display thumbnail collection of Bill and Sharon Panczner: built in the 1960s-1980s.
