Item Description

This is classic, bright blue azurite on malachite from this remote locale. Nowadays, they are not so common on the market. Most specimens are spherical aggregates of crystals, but this is unusual in that it forms a rich, elongated cluster on the contrasting green malachite. The royal-blue and navy-blue crystals really sparkle in the light. A complete-all-around 360-degree piece, except for the contact at one end. Ex. Harold Urish Collection. Valued at $400.
