Azurite on Malachite (excellent)

Sharp, highly lustrous, midnight-blue, azurite crystals are richly and attractively mounded and clustered on the thin malachite crust on this dramatic and beautiful specimen from Bou Bekker. The bright green primary malchite is a splendid contrast. The azurites actually have desirable "electric-blue" color under strong light! Older material from the late 1980s and not seen from here since that time. Valued $400-500 for size, quality and color impact. Looks like classic Bisbee or Morenci material, but is not! MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
