An adorable azurite miniature from recent finds at the now-famous Milpillas Mine. A striking 3.4 cm doubly terminated, parallel-growth, striated, tabular azurite crystal with sharp tips is dramatically angled on the contrasting malachite after azurite miniature matrix. The highly lustrous compound crystal appears to be royal-blue to navy-blue to midnight-blue under normal light, BUT bright light reveals gorgeous electric-blue color, that makes Milpillas azurites among the world's finest. This outstanding two-sided azurite crystal is pristine. Get a most excellent example of this varietal, while you can. Valued at $750-1000.
