Item Description
A fabulously sculptural, very vuggy matrix of velvety, banded, botryoidal malachite hosts six azurite crystals on this aesthetic specimen from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, display specimens are becoming scarce. The azurites are fine quality, sharp, highly lustrous, somewhat gemmy (desirable electric-blue), deep blue, bladed crystals. The super, 2.5 cm crystal is doubly terminated and pristine. The horizontal azurite is contacted and the bit of bruising to the malachite are only very modest detractions. A fine display specimen from this well-known find
