Azurite on chatoyant Malachite

Intensely sparkly and lustrous, navy-blue azurite crystals fill a well-placed 5.0 x 4.0 cm vug in a sculptural, 3-dimensional matrix of beautiful, banded, chatoyant malachite on this showy and excellent specimen from recent finds at the Liu Feng Shan Mine of China. The backside of the piece reveals the gorgeous, thick bands of chatoyant malachite. The vug portion of the specimen looks like the back of a chair, looking at the piece from the side. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
