Item Description
A cute and aesthetic old-time combination from Tsumeb. A pristine, 2.4 cm azurite obelisk proudly stands up from the matrix of smaller azurites, light green baydonite and a bit of malachite. All of the azurites have zones of electric-blue color under bright light. The broken crystals on left side of the piece are noted, but are a minimal detraction to this fine old-timer. This is a style from the oldest parts of the mine, the First Oxidation Zone, circa 1900. This excellent azurite combination is valued at $400.
