Azurite (old - unusual style)

An uncommon, rich and impresssive style of azurite from Tsumeb. Separated mounded aggregates of lustrous blocky navy-blue azurite crystals cover the matrix. Many of the crystals light up with beautiful "electric blue" color under bright light. This azurite style more resembles pieces from well-known Arizona locales, but this showy and rich rarity is from Tsumeb and comes from a Tsumeb collection. Undoubtably older material from the Upper Oxidized Zone.
