Item Description

A well-placed sculptural vug is lined with spherical aggegates of sparkly, navy-blue azurite blades in a malachite-rich, CABINET matrix. These crystals have desirable "electric-blue" gemminess under bright light and close inspection. This fine and showy, old-timer, which comes with a circa-1900 paper label glued to the back is from the famous Bisbee mines of Arizona. Classic material. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
