Item Description

An aesthetic specimen of intergrown rosettes of lustrous to matte-finish royal-blue azurite blades from the famous and ancient mines at Chessy, the Type Locality. Some of the blades have moderate flashes of electric-blue color under bright light. A choice and highly representative example of the species and famed locality. The mines were closed by 1875. Valued $1200-1500
