Striking sprays of gorgeous azure-blue acicular azurite crystals are richly peppered on all sides of the contrasting layered gossan matrix on this very colorful old-time specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee. Azurite needle sprays are not common from Bisbee and this is a good one. Ex Smithsonian Museum (numbers match) and Bruce Murphy Collections.
