Item Description
A classic and fine Copper Queen azurite specimen. The bladed azurite rosettes have TOP color and sparkly luster. About as good as it gets from Bisbee. The bit of bright green malachite is a super compliment. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but in the overall context of this excellent plate, it is a very modest detraction. Copper Queen azurites of this outstanding quality date to prior to World War I and could be quite a bit older. Ex Dartmouth College Collection. Valued at $600-750 and worth it.
