A striking, old-time azurite specimen from Bisbee and the Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection. A dramatic, sculptural vug is lined with scintillating spherical aggregates of navy-blue azurite crystals. Close examination of these under strong light shows MANY flashes of desirable "electric-blue" gemminess. One outer wall of the vug is covered with another generation of sparkling, royal-blue, spherical aggregates of azurite crystals. MANY of these also have "electric-blue" gemminess! Even the sawed backside is very artistic! This is an outstanding old piece from Bisbee, certainly around 100 years old or older and is in super shape. Valued at $750. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
