Item Description

A fabulous, sawed, polished and coated slab from Morenci. The surreal piece of breccia (a rock composed of broken fragments of minerals or rock cemented together by a fine-grained matrix that can be similar to or different from the composition of the fragments) has sculptural matrix clasts (some included with malachite and iron oxides) surrounded by stunning, most colorful, swirled azure-blue azurite and malachite. Slabs of this unreal composition, color and quality are a desirable Morenci classic. 107 grams mass. ex Mullane Collection
