A striking, sculptural and aesthetic, large two-sided combination crust from this now-famous locale. Glorious, bright royal-blue azurite crystals nicely flanked by small pseudomorphs of malachite after azurite cover one side of the porphyry matrix crust. The other side is strikingly different! Here, highly lustrous, velvet malachite pseudomorphs after sharp azurite blades, to 2.1 cm, totally cover this side. The periphery wear on the front is certainly only a modest detraction to this very fine, large combination piece. Valued at $1000 for size and quality.
