Azurite & Malachite cabochon (old) 20 grams

Beautiful, rich azure-blue, banded azurite with "eyes" aesthetically flanks the sculptural center of chatoyant malachite with a bit of nicely accenting, powder-blue, chrysocolla on this highly polished, striking and very fine cabochon. The rhyolite matrix on the back adds character. Classic, old-time (1980s) and excellent material from the noted Morenci Mine. Mass is 20 grams or 100 carats.
