Item Description

A classic and excellent combination from the famous and extinct New Cornelia Mine at Ajo. Sharp, highly lustruous royal-blue azurite crystals are aesthetically set on malachite pseudomorphs after azurite and azurite altering to malachite crystals. The striking central azurite is 2.7 cm. Sought-after Arizona azurite, as Ajo never produced the quantity, that Bisbee or Ray did. From an East Coast collection.
