Item Description
Scintillating azurite microcrystals are a stark contrast next to the shimmering bubbly malachite botryoids on the hefty sculptural large solid granular azurite matrix from recent finds at this well-known Cu-Fe deposit. The sparkly azurites are midnight-blue to navy-blue in normal light, but GLOW with "electric-blue" gemminess under bright light! A fine bonus on the back is the 6.0 cm, deep cleft-like vug lined with malachite pseudomorphs after small azurite crystals. This is an outstanding and rich large two-sided specimen from the locale and compares well with classic Bisbee azurite.
