Sculptural, rich and colorful large 360-degree azurite and malachite from this well-known mine. The strikingly vuggy, bubbly, botryoidal banded malachite matrix hosts several large vugs lined with three different habits of azurite. Scintillating navy-blue and midnight-blue azurite microcrystals line most of the vugs and are accented with seams of bright royal-blue azurite. Every turn presents a distinctively different perspective to this very showy combination. Azurites from here have been compared favorably with those from Bisbee. High praise, indeed!
