Azurite with Arsentsumebite

An extremely rare arsentsumebite vug filled with bladed, translucent, and highly lustrous flower-shaped azurite clusters. Arsentsumebite, a rare lead copper-arsenate-sulfate, creates a striking contrast with the azurite, resulting in an incredibly unique and visually stunning specimen. I've not often encountered such a distinct appearance of this species before. Perfectly sized for a thumbnail, this piece is both highly aesthetic and attractive. This is a notable old specimen, rare and highly sought after today, showcasing a classic mineral association found exclusively in Tsumeb. Most of these specimens were discovered in the early days of Tsumeb mining, in the early 1900s. Ex Jingnan (Tom) Zhang.
