Item Description
A real beauty of a miniature from the famous copper producing region in Mexico. Several razor-sharp, rather lustrous, deep electric royal blue "sword"-shaped crystals of Azurite - some of which are arranged into a "burst"-shaped radiating group - on contrasting matrix. The main group of crystals is in excellent condition, and when set behind a strong light, they show decent gemmines with luminescent color. Despite the smaller size (the largest crystal is only about 6 mm), this is about as fine of quality of Azurite as you will see from anywhere. If you collect Azurite, or any secondary ore minerals, or just attractive display pieces from Mexico, don't pass this one up. Enjoy!
