Item Description
A classic specimen of the famous Azurite "flowers" from Malbunka. This piece is a semi-"rosette" shaped group of Azurite that had formed in Cambrian Rocks, and was exposed and removed to show the beautiful form. A gorgeous thumbnail of this famous material from Australia. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12522). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
