Item Description

A hard to find display specimen of fine blue Azurite crystals measuring up to 2.4 cm aesthetically sitting on oxidzied matrix. The gentle micro-stepped faces of the crystals combined with the above average luster and beautiful overall form make this a very worthwhile and rarely seen piece from Tiger. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2193). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
