Item Description

Milpillas Azurites will go down as some of the finest examples of the species in history, which is really saying something when you think about all the top Azurite producing localities in the world. The oxidized zone is done at this mine, and we will never see any more of these amazing specimens. I'm sure you've noticed that they have quickly dried up from the market in recent years, and they will surely appreciate in value over time. This is an attractive display specimen featuring very good quality, sharp, rather lustrous, deep blue crystals measuring up to 8 mm, free of matrix. A very good specimen of this famous and now dwindling material. No damage that I can find with naked eye. Priced at $600 in the inventory. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
