Scintillating rosettes of gemmy, "electric-blue" azurite crystals are festooned on all sides of this striking and excellent Morenci specimen. The isolation and extreme knobby/protruding character of the rossettes is remarkable. A bit of contacting and bruising is noted, mainly on the sides, but is certainly very modest detraction on this fine specimen. The azurites are a bit darker on one side. Classic Morenci Mine azurite. Ex Harold Urish Collection # 593 and valued at $650. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
