Item Description

An incredibly colorful and very fine, two-sided azurite specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee and the Harold Urish Collection # 858. Intensely royal-blue (nearly electric-blue), sparkly, nubby, azurite botryoids cover one side of the highly sculptural, banded, botryoidal, malachite crust. The azurite botryoids on the other side are a lighter, less-intense, royal-blue and are not quite as nubby. Interesting chemistry here. Classic and outstanding, old-time Bisbee azurite. This fine piece has multiple fine display views.
