Azurite (excellent)

Item Description

Minerals specimens are just not that common from this famous, old, extinct, large Cu-Pb-Au-Ag-Zn mine. Intergrown rosettes of bright royal-blue azurite blades form a sculptural and aesthetic two-sided specimen. The blades glow with electric-blue color under bright light. A bit of contacting is noted on the front with the back being in much better condition. Irregardless, this remains a rare, fine, showy, highly representative example of the species and well-known locale.
