Azurite ex Jack Halpern Collection

Beautiful, rich, and lustrous royal-blue Azurite crystals are densely intergrown into an attractive, undulating cluster. The crystals range up to several millimeters in size, and the intense color is uniform and attractive. This showy, small-cabinet specimen is probably from the well-known 1988-1989 finds at the La Sal claim. Drops of green Malachite playing hide and seek among some of the Azurites add to this classic piece. Quintessential and highly representative for this well-known classic locality, this Azurite has fine aesthetics 360 degrees around. While it seems uncatalogued, we found this in a small box of azurite specimens lost out in Jack's garage, probably for decades.
